| Apply Description Nexus Family Healing is looking to hire a Youth and Family Skills Coach to join our newest youth crisis and stabilization center set to open in fall 2025 in Hennepin County! This new youth crisis and stabilization center is a 13-bed, short-term residential service is for Hennepin County youth with complex mental and behavioral health issues looking for appropriate care. The service will help to reduce the number of youth who are stuck in inappropriate care settings such as emergency rooms, police stations, juvenile detention or unstable home situations and provide treatment and therapeutic supports while triage, assessment, and transition planning take place with families.   Assists clients in using age-appropriate self-management skills, including communication, self-regulation, self-help skills, play, social, and relationship skillsProvides de-escalation and therapeutic supports as needed with clientsNotifies and collaborates with Clinical Supervisor in case of crises and emergenciesCompletes clinical documentation in compliance with program expectations; demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills to generate and support program documentation expectations and standards Program Facilitation & Consultation 
  Attends and participates in clinical supervision and team case consultation meetings in accordance with program expectationsCompletes education and training experiences in accordance with program expectationsEnsures minimum hours of direct services as assignedMaintains compliance with all agency, state, and regulatory standards and remain compliant with all HIPAA regulationsAssists in implementing responses to youth behavior and other skills deficits according to the developed treatment planRequirements Required Education and Licensure: 
  Bachelors degree or above in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or universityMust have completed 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience delivering clinical services to treat mental health and emotional disturbances with a trauma focus OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience, would consider minimum completion of 4000 supervision hours of supervised clinical experience delivering clinical services to treat mental health and emotion disturbances with a trauma focus Experience working with at-risk youth and familiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry skills requiredEducated on and compliant with HIPAA regulationsValid driver's license requiredMust have the ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their unique needs and challengesMust be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and values Preferred Education and Experience:
