We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in flawless execution, and delivers top-tier customer service. Your attention to detail and ability to keep things moving make you the key link between our production floor and satisfied customers.

What Success Looks Like

  • Plan and coordinate international shipments with precision and efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers, ensuring top-notch service while keeping the GFS shipping schedule on track.
  • Own complex shipping schedules for large or specialized jobs, coordinating with sales to keep every project on time.
  • Accurately classify shipments and generate bills of lading for seamless outbound delivery.
  • Partner with purchasing to optimize loads, coordinate direct shipments, and minimize freight costs.
  • Deliver timely freight estimates and quotes to support sales success.
  • Lead and continuously improve the internal truck brokering process to maximize efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications That Shine

  • Associate's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field, with 1-3 years of relevant experience-or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong focus on safety, with the ability to identify and address potential hazards to protect employees and operations.
  • Proven ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on-time execution of shipping schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and logistics providers.
  • Knowledge of international shipping processes, particularly in Mexico (MX) and China (CN).
  • Familiarity with government regulations for hazardous materials shipping, including ITAR and EAR compliance.
  • Experience using DAT load boards and brokering truckload and LTL freight.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
