      | Job Summary | We are seeking a creative and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to lead projects at the intersection of membrane biology and neurodegeneration. This position provides an exciting opportunity to investigate how organellar dysfunction contributes to neurodegenerative diseases, using state-of-the-art approaches in neuronal cell biology and quantitative membrane biophysics.

 Cloning, including lentiviral construct design and generationCRISPR/Cas9-based genetic manipulation
 
 iPSC and Primary Cell Culture Work
        
        
 Differentiation of iPSCs into neuronal cell typesGenetic manipulation, immunofluorescence, and live-cell imaging of differentiated neuronsExperience handling primary cultures (neurons, glia, or microglia from animal brains)
 Lab Setup & Team Support
        
        
 Contribute to the final stages of lab setup and organizationAssist with ordering and maintaining lab infrastructureCoordinate common reagent purchases with lab membersMentor undergraduate and graduate trainees as needed
