The Senior Real Estate Accountant will be responsible for managing financial accounting and reporting related to corporate real estate assets, leases, property operations and transactions. This role requires a strong background and understanding of real estate accounting, GAAP, lease accounting, and financial analysis, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments including Operations, Accounting, and Legal. Job Duties and Responsibilities:  
 Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries, as well as all aspects of financial reporting for real estate holdings and lease obligationsMaintain accurate records of lease agreements, rent schedules, and property-related expensesReview and analyze CAM activity and reconciliations to ensure proper treatment and accurate billing to tenantsCoordinate with operations teams to ensure timely invoicing and reconciliation of tenant accountsSupport budgeting and forecasting processes for real estate assetsEnsure compliance with lease terms and accounting standardsAssist in the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysesCollaborate with internal and external teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting accuracyParticipate in audits and provide documentation related to real estate transactionsSupport automation and process improvement initiatives related to assigned tasksProvide support and advice to other team members on complex issues or projects Required Qualifications:  
 Bachelor's degree (BBA or BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of five (5) years of accounting experience with at least three (3) years of specific Real Estate Accounting experienceFamiliarity with lease accounting standardsAbility to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent problem solving and critical thinking skillsFive (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Preferred Qualifications:  
 SAP experienceCPA or CPA candidateAutomation experience utilizing software tools such as Spotfire, SQL, Snowflake, etc.Strong understanding of oil and gas accounting concepts and principles, in accordance with GAAPEye for continuous improvement opportunitiesFlexible regarding workload and prioritiesEffective communication skills to work with all levels of the organizationPossess a positive and team-oriented attitude Diamondback is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
