Description
  This role provides technical quality control supportto field and corporate personnel for the implementation and execution of CWC's
 Quality Management System.
 EssentialDuties & Responsibilities
 
      
 Promote CWC'squality control vision, policies, and procedures
Enforce the companysafety program in accordance with company best practice policies and,
 local, state, and federal laws
Assist withthe implementation of all aspects of the Corporate Quality Management
 System (QMS) at the project level to ensure all work is performed as
 required per the project plans, specifications, and approved submittals using
 the Three Phases of Control
Assistproject teams in the development of Project Specific Quality Management
 Plans and Quality Management System setup
Conduct anddocument Preparatory Meetings (Phase 1) for each definable feature of work.
 Review all requirements for the work (i.e. plans, specifications, approved
 submittals, and AHA). Assess preliminary work and inspect the site with the
 project team and subcontractor. Issue meeting minutes within 48 hours
Conduct anddocument Initial Inspections (Phase 2) for each definable feature of work.
 Ensure all required/approved materials, equipment, and personnel are
 available. Verify preliminary work and inspect the initial placement of
 work
Conduct anddocument Follow-up Inspections (Phase 3) throughout the construction
 process by monitoring work daily to ensure project requirements are met
 and tasks are performed correctly. Non-compliance items shall be
 documented with an observation in Procore
Assist withthe submittal process including creation of the submittal log, receipt of
 submittals, compliance review, submission, logging, tracking, and
 distribution to the project team
Assist withmaintaining the project observation log and track non-compliant items to
 closure
Assist withthe RFI process including creation of RFI's, submission, logging,
 tracking, hyperlinking, and distribution to the project team
Assist withmaintaining electronic record drawings (as-builts)
Assist withproject close out information, including receipt of required documentation
 from subcontractors, electronic assembly of close out documents, and
 transmission of all required information
Assist with theproject punch-out process by conducting pre-punch, pre-final, and final
 punchlist inspections. Prepare and distribute punchlist to the responsible
 subcontractors and track completion of all punchlist items
Use thelatest technology and software to complete projects as assigned
 Training  
      
 Attend, asassigned, all CWC in-house and external training programs
Provide inputto annual corporate quality management training program and perform
 jobsite employee training as needed
Producetraining content as required
Achieve CQM, OSHA 30-hour,first aid and CPR certifications
Maintainrequired certifications
 RiskManagement and Loss Reductions
 
      
 Provide fieldobservations and suggestions regarding opportunities to improve
 performance and lower insurance costs
Assist with QCclaims handling and their resolution
Assist in QC incidentinvestigations and reporting
 Knowledge,Experience, and Special Skills Required
 
      Architectural/Engineering degree in Structural,Mechanical, Electrical or other Construction related field is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore,Bluebeam
Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to assess and prioritize multipletasks, projects, and demands
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Trustworthy, self-motivated, passionate anddedicated to high-quality work
 Works successfully as part of a team Ability to perform all duties in a digital/paperlessenvironment
 Wage Transparency In accordance with the Maryland Wage Transparency Law, the base salary range for this position is: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 Coakley & Williams Construction offers a comprehensive total compensation and benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, employer-matched 401(k), paid time off and holidays, performance-based bonuses, wellness program, and other voluntary benefits and leave types. The determination of salary is based on the candidate's individual professional experience, qualification, education, skills, and training.JobDemands
 Individualsshould be able to reach above and below, stoop, stand, bend and, sit, walk,
 climb ladders and stairs. Individuals should also be able to lift, carry and/or
 move items up to 25lbs.
 May beexposed to heavy machinery/equipment, hazardous chemicals and extreme weather
 conditions.
 Minimumof 40 hours per week required. Work
 hours will vary depending on project requirements, and may involve weekends and
 night work.
