Description and Requirements
  • Project Management:
    Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and tracking progress to ensure milestones are met.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Coordinating with various teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing.
  • Process Development:
    Designing and documenting manufacturing processes, work instructions, and tooling to ensure efficient production of the new product.
  • Quality Control:
    Developing and implementing test plans, monitoring test results, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Documentation:
    Creating and approving product files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and other essential documents for the new product and manufacturing.
  • Risk Management:
    Identifying potential risks and issues early in the development cycle and developing mitigation plans.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field

  • 2 plus years of experience in manufacturing, process development, or new product introduction (NPI)

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly

  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers in a high-mix, low- to mid-volume production environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related engineering or technical discipline

  • Experience launching hardware products in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics)
