 In this role, you will perform basic design and production of construction document duties assigned by a Licensed Professional and works to fulfill experience requirements for eligibility to take the professional licensing exam. Job Responsibilities: 
     Conceptual Design
      
       Establish a discipline basis of design for the Design Manager to reviewDetailed DesignAnalysis Ability
        
         Performs dimensional, interference, and basic design checks on the layouts and sketches of Licensed professionals and, as requested, on interdisciplinary drawing setsPerforms analysis or calculations as assignedDesigning for Safety incorporated into drawingsResponsible for design compliance with Owner criteriaResearches, and documents and is responsible for discipline design compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, standards, and regulationsDetailing
        
         Applies discipline design and detailing fundamentals in developing designs and specifications under the supervision of and subject to final approval by the Licensed ProfessionalAssists Licensed Professional with plotting/production/assembly of drawing packages and writing specificationsCode compliance review with a design professionalMaintains AE checklists for the Design Manager to reviewParticipates in coordination review sessionsMaintains orderly work files and prepares clear well-written memos/correspondence. When assigned, prepares presentation materialsCoordinates and checks work carefully to minimize all deficiencies, errors, and omissionsUses Haskell standards and proceduresCoordinates work with other disciplines. Performs interdisciplinary coordination checks to minimize deficiencies, errors, and omissions in drawings and specificationsConstruction Documents
        
         Produces well-organized, finished design documents of good appearance, accuracy, clarity, and correctness from layouts, sketches, or written instructions Construction Support
      
       Subject to final approval of Licensed Professional, check shop drawings and submittal data for conformance with contract documentsAssists Licensed Professional in-field inspections, development of solutions to field problems, preparation of field orders, addenda, and record drawingsShop drawings returned on scheduleResponds to field/construction questions as directed by the discipline leaderCreates inspection reports and punch listsReviews applicable shop drawings and submittal data for compliance with construction documentsPlanning, Scheduling, and Profitability
      
       Creates work plans for assigned tasks. Monitors and projects personal workload status, advising supervisor of difficulties in accomplishing schedulesMeets scheduled key datesDiscusses progress regularly with Licensed Professional of RecordAdvises Design Manager of changesDesign to budget man-hoursProject Management
      
       Adhere to project strategyDocuments meetings and telephone conversations to communicate to discipline leader Education/Experience: 
     Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited college or university3-5 years of experience To Thrive in This Role, You'll Need:

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.
