| Summary Responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management and ensuring the flow of raw materials and final products from suppliers to Garland Power & Light (GP&L) Transmission.  Pay Range: Starting at $27.55 (Depending on qualifications and experience)Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Education/ ExperienceEnsure GP&L Transmission logistics and inventory functions comply with all regulatory and budgetary requirements.Develop, maintain, and compile accurate reports of inventory transactions and prepare monthly reports for GP&L Transmission Administration, GP&L Accounting, and Internal Auditing departments.Assist with the preparation of responses to compliance requests for information, audits, compliance violations, spot check documentation.Manage and maintain inventory and purchasing records including amount, type and value. Contact vendors and enter orders for supplies and materials using City of Garland purchasing procedures. Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.Develop processes to make supply chain more efficient, compliant, and organized.Communicate with Transmission Administration to review and determine appropriate inventory levels.Develops negotiation strategies, options, and contingency plans to mitigate supply risk, performance, and cost escalation.Ensure monthly safety inspections on all GP&L equipment and report to GP&L management to ensure compliance.Obtain operator certification for lifting equipment.
