| Ziegler Ag Equipment has an opening for an ambitious sales professional to join our Ag Sales Team. The Ag Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing relationships with farmers in the area to sell them products that fit their operation. This position will represent the Fendt, Massey Ferguson, AgChem, and Brandt product lines among others. These products represent all aspects of the operation from planting to harvest. This position offers a competitive base salary along with uncapped commission. Sales Account Managers will be provided with a company vehicle as well as the latest in business technology. This role will be based out of Ziegler's Grundy Center location.: Responsibilities: 
 Serves as the first point of contact between the customer and Ziegler Ag Equipment.Develops coverage plan and document coverage activities for a better outcome on customer visitsCollaborates with the Ag Regional Sales Manager during the sales process, encouraging team sellingPromptly responds to requests of administrative and managerial employeesMeets and responds to the needs of assigned customers in a professional and timely mannerUses other specialists as needed such as product specialists, manufacturer reps, management, etcDevelops good rapport with customers, maintaining a good balance of personal and business friendshipPresents self as a professional, neat, clean Ziegler representativeAccurately maintains customer information lists and sales activities through CRM softwarePrepares sales contracts for obtained orders and submits those orders for processingAdheres to defined schedules for required paperwork and reports. Maintains level of expense consistent with corporate requirementsPlans ahead for call activity and strategyPlans and executes a pricing strategy consistent with company policyWorks in a cooperative manner with management and other employees on an inter- and intra-departmental basisFollows up on leads and other inquiriesProspects and reaches out to "new" customers on a regular basisCreates and presents material to encourage the customer's decision-making processEffectively use demonstrations - plans, qualifies, formalizes the demo presentation and follows up with written recap and quoteEmphasizes product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilitiesControls the sales interview with appropriate questions to determine needs and listens effectively to meet those needsPromptly responds to customer requestsContinually works to find product or service solutions for customer's unique needsResearches competitive product information, developing knowledge of competitive products and sellersResolves customer issues both within and out of the direct sales processMaintains strong relationships with many key accounts to ensure their continued business with ZieglerPromotes corresponding and additional products and services to customers according to their needs Qualifications: 
 High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business or agriculture-related field preferredStrong mechanical aptitudeStrong agricultural backgroundExcellent communication skills - written and verbalPersonal characteristics: Self-Motivated, Customer Focus, Learning Orientation, Consideration for others / Empathy, Self-Confidence, TeamworkMust have and maintain a clean driving recordAble to drive and operate equipment for demonstration purposes Travel: Minimum Physical Requirements:

The total compensation (base plus incentive) for this position is$133,300.00 to $200,000.00 Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, and education.
