Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: To teach or develop courses in the field or subfield for which you are applying are determined by Higher Learning Commission's accreditation requirements for faculty, and must be met in these ways: * Current New Mexico and/or National Phlebotomy * Completed 15 college credit hours in health science related courses Preferred Qualifications: * Associate, Bachelor, or higher degree in health sciences or related field * Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) * Knowledge of education methods as well as current certification procedures * Demonstrated ability to work with groups in a collaborative atmosphere * Teaching experience in a post-secondary institution, particularly community college experience. * A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understand of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
