We're looking for a Community Relations Manager to join our team! Be our storyteller! You'll coordinate a community relations plan that sparks interest and inspires others to join us. Who will love this job: * A people person - you're a skilled communicator and can easily navigate conversations with volunteers and donors alike to convey Mosaic's values and mission in a way that inspires others * A go-getter - you naturally bring a source of intensity and energy that's needed to recruit, motivate, and support Mosaic's fundraising efforts * A stand-out collaborator - you enjoy meeting new people and easily form solid, genuine, and mutually rewarding relationships which promotes awareness and secures donors who are passionate about our mission You maintain relationships through ongoing education and cultivation * An optimist - you know community relations is challenging work but you have your eye on the "bigger picture" impact it will have We're looking for a Community Relations Manager to help us build strong relationships and raise awareness. You'll be the face of our mission in the community. Build partnerships through community outreach and sharing stories. Cultivate donor relationships and secure contributions to support our work. Create and implement awareness campaigns within the local faith community. Collaborate on grant proposals and applications for funding. SCHEDULE: Days, Salaried, hours will vary based on the needs of the agency fundraising and community awareness event planning, travel will be required in the Southern and Eastern parts of Iowa with an agency vehicle provided.
