Position Summary |
This is a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in cancer biology and immuno-oncology in the Pruitt lab at the
UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Postdoc will be involved in leading a project that examines the effect of Wnt signaling in cancer models and the impact on the tumor immune microenvironment. The candidate will also be involved in characterizing how tumor-intrinsic Wnt signaling and tumor-intrinsic Dishevelled (
DVL) proteins affect immune cell infiltration into tumors. Research will include in vitro assays such as chromatin immunoprecipitation, RT-
PCR,
IHC, Flow cytometry, IF, and western blotting and in vivo assays involving tumor growth in mouse models. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
PhD in related field. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Candidate should have experience in cancer biology, flow cytometry, syngeneic murine tumor models, and bioinformatics. Candidate ideally would have some familiarity with epigenetics and immunology. |
