Continuation past the termlengthdiscussed willbebasedonuniversityneed,performance,and/oravailabilityoffunding.POSITION SPECIFICS POSTDOCTORAL POSITION Department of Cell and Biological Systems The Pennsylvania State University College of MedicineA POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available immediately to study the molecular mechanisms of hepatitis B virus replication and persistence in the laboratory of Jianming Hu, MD, PhD, Professor, Department of Cell and Biological Systems, H-107, The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, 500 University Drive, Hershey, PA 17033, E-mail: juh13@psu.edu, Web: https://pure.psu.edu/en/persons/jianming-hu. The post-doctoral scholar will perform sophisticated experiments to study the replication and pathogenesis mechanisms of hepatitis B virus, using a variety of technologies including biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, and animal models. A Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) with research experience in virology, molecular biology, or cell biology is required.
