Job Overview

The PCX Welder II


All work adheres to engineering and quality specifications and is performed according to PCX safety standards.


Specific Position Requirements:



  • Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements
  • Fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.
  • Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process with minimal supervision.
  • Welder II inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.
  • Welder II may prepare the materials and set up for a welding device or robot.
  • May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in an area of specialty.

A Day In The Life

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • High School diploma (or equivalence) preferred.
  • Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
  • Able to lift 50# consistently.


  • Ability to work 10 hours or more per day and weekends as required.
  • Must be 2G certified, obtain OSHA 10 certification, and be recommended by their supervisor for promotion
  • requires 5-8 years of related experience.
