        | Position Type |  | Full Time |  |  |  | Description Summary / Position Purpose: The Educational and National Business Development Specialist role has direct responsibility for building brand equity, sales, and achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives for TestEquity's product portfolio across multiple categories. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with making outbound phone calls, generating interest with customers, qualifying prospects and closing sales. You are enthusiastic about the business and are an independent thinker with team spirit!  Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:  
 
     
 Explain and demonstrate TestEquity's capabilities, services or products, and answer questions from customers or prospectsEffectively collaborate with team members to improve processes and drive revenue/customer growthResearch and develop new leads and opportunitiesMaintain national and educational relationships within the company as well as contacts to business partners, important decision-makers, and the expansion of customer reachSupport and drive company initiatives to achieve National and EDU goalsWork collaboratively with Sales Leadership to support customers' infrastructure requirements, developing and providing technical solutions to meet their needsCultivate strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders and provide strategic advice on the Company's go-to-market effortsCreate and confidently deliver presentations internally to key stakeholdersDeliver prepared sales presentations, utilizing support material describing products or services, to help existing and potential customersDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with manufacturer partnersAttend meetings, trade shows, when necessary, with customers, OEMs, and AMs to determine business requirements Indirectly responsible for product qualityOther duties as assigned
 
Qualifications Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 
 
     
 High School diploma or GED is required3+ years' experience in a sales roleAbility to provide exceptional customer service to our customers internally and externally.Ability to understand customer needs and provide successful solutionsCreative, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsHigh personal accountability for self and othersExcellent relationship building skillsStrong working knowledge of CRM (Dynamics)Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Power Point, Excel, and Word
