Essential Duties:



  • Remotely administrate over Microsoft based systems and services through use of the RSAT (Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy/etc.)
  • Assist in Identity and Access Management (IAM), to include provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts, problem resolution and audit support
  • Maintain the local technology infrastructure
  • Respond to, and document IT incidents utilizing Ports America's IT incident management system
  • Track and maintain local IT assets
  • Comply with Corporate Safety and IT policies and procedures.
  • Research, procure, configure and deploy customer IT equipment
  • Coordinate emergency incident response across multiple IT teams for critical enterprise service and system outages


Working Conditions:



  • This position is located in an office environment requiring the use of a keyboard, mouse and video display.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs


Minimum Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and 3+ years of experience in a Windows environment supporting PCs, servers, printers, network equipment (wired and wireless.)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Working knowledge of DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Exchange, and Cisco administration.
  • Solid interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and a team-oriented environment, with willingness to share knowledge and expedite the accomplishment of assigned tasks.
  • Experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications
  • Strong, hands-on and current knowledge of the Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook and Office 365 environments, and Windows network configurations in a global enterprise environment
  • Extensive knowledge of customer IT desktop solutions, including deployment, maintenance and fault resolution
  • Ability to present technical and security concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and IT Operations peers
  • Knowledge of change management, project management and process improvement principles, preferred
  • Ability to exercise, on a regular basis, independent judgment and discretion in performance of job duties
  • Ability to multi-task and handle on a pro-active basis, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment in order to maximize time-management and efficiencies
  • Ability to develop analytical and organizational skills
