 This Logistics Coordinator is an entry-level position. The successful candidate will be a team player, helping flow materials and products within supply chain, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Will coordinate transportation, warehousing, and inventory, working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to optimize the logistics process.
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Ensure accuracy of orders, preparing shipping documents, and processing shipmentsWork with transportation providers to arrange shipments, manage transportation costs, and optimize routesSupport warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and ensure proper storage and handling of materialsFacilitate communication between different departments, including production, procurement, and distribution, to ensure smooth workflowAddress issues related to shipments, delivery delays, or inventory shortagesEnsure adherence to safety standards and regulations related to transportation and warehousingDuties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the businessUphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and TeamworkDemonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and ConductIt is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 High School diploma or equivalent Some prior work experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
 Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented and desire for accuracyKnowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards 
 PreferredSome experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation
General understanding of logistics processes, transportation modes, and warehousing operationsExperience with international shippingDCAA government audit experience
 Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
