As a Security Professional Chemical Patrol Specialist in North Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Security Officer focused on access control within a chemical and petrochemical environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, assist individuals with access or badge issues, and respond promptly to inquiries or concerns. Working in this dynamic location, you will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to document incidents and support daily operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to restricted areas.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control in a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors and employees in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response guidelines as appropriate for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the perimeter and within the business to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or drills.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
