Aerospace Customer and Operations Liaison

The Aerospace Customer and Operations Liaison is responsible for leading onsite and virtual routine customer interactions to provide information on production status and performance to plan, specifically work-in-progress (WIP) and shipment. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a single report that provides accurate status on WIP and shipment status by part number and program at Sylmar. This role is critical to delivering customer satisfaction and managing complex accounts. This role requires an analytical and results-oriented individual with experience talking to external customers to work closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, Program Managers and Strategic Account Managers in order to provide accurate and timely information on production performance.

In this role you will work on-site at our Sylmar, CA facility and will report to the Global business Director Commercial Transparencies.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for utilizing PPG data governance processes to provide daily, weekly, monthly data concerning part movement, work-in-process (WIP) position, shipping status and actual production performance versus commitment.
• Responsible for leading meetings with customers concerning part movement, work-in-process (WIP) position, shipping status and actual production performance versus commitment.
• Gate keep customer meetings pertaining to part status or status to commitment
• Hosting customers that have approved, scheduled visits to discuss part status, or status to commitment.
• Liaises with appropriate internal business functional partners to validate and communicate data to external customers.
• Liaise with key Functional Business partners to understand their customer experiences, leverage those interactions to prioritize and develop data reports, and dashboards and day to day opportunities to improve deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Four (4) or more years' experience understanding of QAD and data management processes, along with the ability to design and create visual data elements for internal and external audiences.
• Four (4) or more years' experience with databases and IT systems.
• Bachelor's Degree and four (4) or more years' experience in ERP system, supervisory and/or relevant business experience a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. All offer amounts are dictated by length/breadth of applicable experience and current departmental pay equity.
