Description

Regulus Group is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the FAA. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated self-starter who can contribute meaningfully and grow within our organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide systems engineering support and perform required engineering activities for government clients in the aviation industry.
  • Record and track system requirements and provide assistance in the way of updating required documents
  • Work with program staff to ensure that requirements are aligned with system development activities
  • Define project direction and ensure use of technical best practices
  • Contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication
  • Develop cooperative working relationships, anticipate customer needs, and problem solve on their behalf
  • Serve as a role-model for a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment and coach, support, and train staff on technical competencies
  • Advance technical best practices through maintenance of guidance, templates, and reference materials
  • Lead critical proposal or capture activities for new opportunities and with current customers and organizations



REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, aeronautical, or a related field), Computer Science, Technical Discipline or Air Traffic Management
  • 20 years of relevant experience and recognized as a subject matter expert
  • Experience in surveillance, navigation, communications, air traffic automation, or related systems
  • Knowledge of Communication, Navigation and Surveillance is desired.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with other team members.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.
