As a Security Guard Retail Patrol Driver in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment at a bustling retail and mall location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will be a point of contact for those in need of assistance, responding to situations with professionalism and care. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits within the retail or mall environment.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the location.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
