The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Junior Systems Administrator (Windows + Mac) to support a proposal to our government client in Boulder, CO. This full-time role requires a hands-on professional with deep experience in Windows systems administration and support of a limited number of Mac users.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and virtual environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Perform regular system backups and recovery operations.
• Contribute documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement system upgrades and patches.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff.
• Assist with system audits and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
• Performs system backups and recovery.
• Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

What We're Looking For

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in systems administration or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Mac OS.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable guidance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
