Title: Director of Planning & Logistics, North America

Location: Proximity to Work in Alsip IL US, Scarborough, CAN, or Monterrey MX

Comp Range: $142,000 - $190,000 plus bonus

Griffith Foods is hiring a Director of Planning & Logistics, North America to provide strategic direction and leadership to Griffith Foods North America Planning & Logistics teams across the United States, Mexican and Canadian Sites, and businesses, including various contract manufacturer locations and warehouses. This role leads the team and processes to ensure cost efficient, high quality and customer focused delivery of products across North America. He/she will develop and execute the overall logistics strategy for the NA business through oversight and coordination of production planning, forecasting, raw material procurement and transportation of goods at the manufacturing facilities, 3rd party manufacturers, and outside warehouses, in alignment with Griffith Foods Global standards.

As a Director of Planning & Logistics, your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving production plans, inventory control strategies, and replenishment schedules to reduce waste and ensure efficiency.
  • Leading key initiatives including network analysis and simulations, long range capacity management and network activation.
  • Managing the end-to-end logistics strategy.
  • Being a key leader of the S&OP process including Facilitator for the Supply, Integration and Business Reviews.

The Director of Planning & Logistics position is well suited for you if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of advanced planning tools and proficiency in using data analytics for decision making.
  • Proven expertise in S&OP processes and their alignment with financial and strategic goals.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management/order fulfillment systems, and transportation management methods.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in integrated planning, supply chain management, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • 10+ years' experience in Systems related to order processing, ERP platforms, planning, forecasting, and Microsoft tools.

What will set you apart:

  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus.
  • Spanish is a plus.
