Overview

Debit Projects & Analysis is a division within Savings & Membership with a focus on developing and optimizing business strategies, product portfolios, and operational processes that enhance member value and strengthen organizational performance. Our objective is to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that improve product performance, inform decision-making, and ensure long-term competitiveness.

The Summer Associate will have the opportunity to work with senior strategists and cross-functional partners to analyze business trends, evaluate market opportunities, and support key product initiatives. This role provides exposure to product lifecycle management, from strategy development and market analysis to implementation support.

The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2026 and ending in August 2026. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, product performance, and competitor strategies.
  • Support the development of business cases, financial models, and forecasts to inform decision-making.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvements across product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in marketing, finance, research, and technology to support strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior leadership.
  • Contribute to special projects designed to enhance the member experience and improve organizational performance.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and an eagerness to learn about strategy and product development.
  • Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation
  • Knowledge of, or experience using, data and analytics tools such as PowerBI, Databricks, SQL, SPSS Modeler, R, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in group settings

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
