We are seeking a Deltek Costpoint ERP Systems Administrator for our office in Anaheim, CA. The Deltek Costpoint ERP Systems Administrator will ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of the company's ERP environment. This role combines technical expertise with business partnership, supporting finance, project management, payroll, and other teams to leverage Costpoint for efficiency, compliance, and growth. The successful candidate will maintain the current system, implement improvements, and help shape future workflows and integrations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • System Administration & Maintenance
    • Administer and maintain Deltek Costpoint, including user management, security roles, and configurations.
    • Monitor system performance, ensure data integrity, and oversee upgrades, patches, and releases.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
    • Maintain documentation of system processes, configurations, and workflows.
  • Business Support & Collaboration
    • Partner with business units (finance, project management, payroll, operations) to understand ERP needs and deliver solutions.
    • Support end-users with training, troubleshooting, and day-to-day guidance.
    • Serve as primary liaison with Deltek and consultants for support and enhancements.
  • Development & Integration
    • Design, test, and deploy enhancements, workflows, and integrations with other applications.
    • Develop SQL-based reports, stored procedures, and views to support analytics.
    • Collaborate on data migration and system integration projects to improve efficiency.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure system security aligns with company policies and compliance requirements.
    • Support change management processes, including testing and QA for system changes.
    • Provide leadership with recommendations on ERP best practices and optimization.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred); or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Deltek Costpoint or a similar Deltek ERP product required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL for system management, data integration, and reporting required.
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VBA, macros).
  • Experience with ERP upgrades, system integrations, or reporting tools (especially IBM Cognos).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to support and collaborate with users across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to knowledge sharing and mentoring to enhance team capabilities.
  • Customer service orientation and adaptability to changing business needs.
  • Occasional travel to other offices or work sites may be required.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule and occasionally work extended hours to support system upgrades or critical issues as business dictates.
