Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
The Division of Diagnostic Sciences focuses on oral radiology and pathology through a combination of basic science and general dentistry, guides the diagnosis of oral diseases, and helps develop patient treatment plans. The Orofacial Pain discipline assesses, diagnoses and treats patients with complex, chronic pain in the mouth, jaws and face. |
Position Summary |
This position will provide administrative and clinical support for clinics in the Division of Diagnostic Sciences. This position will be responsible for setting up operatories with patient charts and exam supplies; ensuring patients complete paperwork requested by providers; collecting and distributing mail; answering general patient questions regarding insurance; scheduling follow-up appointments; assisting with consults and entering treatment plans; cleaning and restocking inventories. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Previous administrative experience. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment. |
