Job Summary

Performers, operates, and maintains: including HVAC & Plumbing commercial systems. Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs facilities mechanical components.

2nd Shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 2:00 PM -10:30 PM

40 hours guaranteed

Essential Duties

  • Responds to Facility Service Work Orders from building occupants. Requests may include plumbing & HVAC.
  • Diagnoses building management/energy management systems for faults and errors.
  • Collaborates with fellow technicians to maintain and repair hvac, plumbing systems.
  • Proficiently interprets blueprints and schematic drawings to ensure accurate troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately. Takes readings from nominal equipment and makes timely entry into appropriate logs.
  • Uses tools and equipment that are standard issue and do not need further calibration or adjustment, and keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Observes and complies with all company safety policies. Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests.
  • Works on and completes all facility team-based goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial building maintenance with a strong focus on plumbing and/or HVAC systems

  • Valid EPA Universal HVAC certification required

  • Plumbing license or equivalent commercial plumbing experience preferred

  • Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
