What to Expect
The Area Superintendent will work closely with members of the Construction Management, Facility Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Facility Operation, and Production Operation departments from planning, through installation and the start of production. This team member will supervise all on-site construction related to tool installation including scheduling of trade contractors, vendor tool installations, resolving day-to-day construction issues, performing day-to-day inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications while tracking project schedule. They are also responsible to ensure the quality of the work being performed by contractors or team members in the field.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities including Electrical, Structural, Process, Mechanical and Instrumentation scopes
- Develop execution plans/schedules, Participate in design reviews & Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals, job site personnel and other construction Managers
- Manage contractors, Drive the fieldwork (space ready and utility hookup) to ensure schedule stays on track and elevate any installation issues to proper management
- Develop and maintain site logistics and execution plans
- Employ a can-do attitude, working through challenges with all stakeholders
- Work with Engineering teams to resolve design roadblocks immediately & Enforce and maintain quality for engineering drawings and field installations; identify causes of issues and work with various teams to improve specifications and/or standards where required
- Ensure installation meets end users' requirements and quality expectations
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management or related fields is preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of construction or Manufacturing experience in large industrial construction projects in Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Refining, Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors, Data Center or equivalent high-tech facilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills, OSHA 30 certification (or equivalent); current First Aid and CPR Certification, or be willing to be certified
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam and scheduling software (Microsoft Projects) able to identify and implement the best method to communicate or plan a project and scopes, Literate in P&IDs, Flow Diagrams, Logic Diagrams and Loops Diagrams
- Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to complete objectives or find the correct information
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals

Expected Compensation
$100,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
