Video & Animation Editor

Key Role:

Produce graphic designs using a variety of techniques and software for both print and electronic communications, including promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials, distributed through a variety of media outlets. Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into polished, high-quality videos. Manipulate and edit video segments to create compelling and cohesive stories. Integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design to enhance video content. Collaborate with creative teams and internal stakeholders to understand project scope and deliver on their vision. Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel. Manage and organize video files, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a video editor

  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations and incorporating video

  • Ability to present a portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with proposal graphics

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, including a keen eye for aesthetics

  • Possession of excellent communication and collaboration skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
