This is a position with WM Technologies, LLC and affiliate of SPX Enterprises, LLC, which manufactures and sells Weil-McLainbranded products. Weil-McLain is a leading North American brand of hydronic comfort heating systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings since 1881.

JOB SUMMARY

Prepares items for shipments ensuring cost effective courier services. Also ensures packing accuracy and holds high quality standards in product distributed to our external customers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews open orders.
  • Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Contacts carriers to arrange and confirm capacity for shipments.
  • Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates proof of delivery documents
  • Interfaces daily with Customer Service team.
  • Closes out loads.
  • Ensures orders are filled daily to meet required shipping lead times.
  • Communicates all out of stock items to planning group for build requirements.
  • Maintains recordkeeping for the Shipping area.
  • Performs filing as needed.
  • Operate a forklift as needed to get and stage material

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong PC Skills

Strong Microsoft Office Skills (i.e. word, excel, outlook) preferred

Well-organized with a systematic approach to responsibilities

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Detail oriented.

Forklift Certified.

Customer Service experience (preferred)

Knowledge of boilers (preferred)

Able to work with team members outside the UPS Department.

Flex in to other jobs as business needs arise.

Education and Experience

High School Graduate or equivalent.
