Position Overview

QinetiQ US is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to join our Growth organization. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting capture and business development efforts in the defense and national security market. The analyst will contribute to knowledge management, research, data tracking, and artifact production in support of strategic growth initiatives.



Responsibilities

    CRM & Data Management: Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of CRM data for reliable tracking and reporting.
  • Market Research: Master digital tools for market and open-source intelligence to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities.
  • Business Development Support: Research market trends and assist with the development of strategies aligned with QinetiQ's growth priorities.
  • Proposal & Strategy Assistance: Provide support to proposal development teams, leveraging AI-enabled tools for writing, research, and artifact production.
  • Knowledge Management: Organize, manage, and continuously improve knowledge resources, implementing process improvements as directed.
  • Operational Support: Perform additional tasks as assigned by business development leadership to ensure successful execution of growth initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Political Science, International Relations, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong research, organizational, and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data entry best practices.
  • Ability to learn and apply digital tools for market research and intelligence gathering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in the defense, intelligence, and federal contracting markets a plus.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce, or other CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes and acquisition lifecycle.
  • Exposure to proposal writing or business development support functions.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
