This Lead Supply Chain Coordinator opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. This individual will be responsible for the coordination of the daily operations in all areas of the Supply Chain Operation including but not limited to purchasing, receiving, equipment, and replenishment of warehouse supplies. Responsible for training of new staff. Proficient in all software or internet systems used in the procurement process. Demonstrates proficiency in cycle counting, inventory, knowledge of supplies and substitutes. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and edits department requisitions. Expedites and follows up on orders placed on a regularly scheduled basis to ensure timely arrival of products.
  • Works as a liaison with the central purchasing office to resolve purchase order issues or concerns.
  • Contributes to the ongoing accuracy of the perpetual inventory by efficient utilization of Supply Chain techniques in purchasing, receiving and distribution
  • Responsible for the conversion of products as dictated by GPO, UHS, local negotiations and the Value Analysis Committee.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or a related field is preferred.
At least two (2) years of experience with the procurement function in the healthcare environment.
