LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME RECEPTIONIST/PACKAGE CONCIERGE! To handle all switchboard activities including: greeting and having all visitors log in and wear visitor badge (business and resident related), taking and reporting all messages, keeping resident and business information current, and assisting residents with questions (or directing them to someone who can answer their questions). You will have the primary responsibility for coordinating the inbound/outbound package activities, including receiving, logging and delivering all inbound and outbound packages with limited supervision. This team member will interact with Southminster residents and team members and must have exceptional customer services skills. You will ensure that every resident, team member, family member, visitor, etc. are greeted with excellence and an approach to Customer Service. This team member must be able to meet the physical demands of this position.Needs to commit to one weekend per month, plus availability to cover nights/days that arise to cover time off. Duties/ Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility is coordinating all receiving and shipping services.
- Answer and transfer all external and internal calls.
- Greet and assist visitors.
- Assist residents as requested including: direct residents to proper departments, collect monthly resident fees, accept and deliver messages (i.e. flowers, medicine, UPS), offer advice about overnight accommodations, restaurants, and points of interest.
- Accept and distribute business deliveries including notifying individuals of deliveries as necessary.
- Maintain a lot of all incoming parcels, prepare and sort parcels for pickup by business departments and deliver them to all Southminster residents
- Provide a high level of customer service including problem solving if a package has been misdelivered or is missing.
- Inform backup/weekend receptionists of any unusual circumstances.
- Keep resident information material updated. Maintain resident confidentiality.
- Maintain and distribute residents out of town forms and family member out of town forms and notify proper departments as needed.
- Monitor records for those residents who are in hospital or temporarily in the health center.
- Keep business information updated.
- Continually monitor guest apartments to ensure they are cleaned and ready for check in or out.
- Call maintenance order on radio and write up maintenance requisitions.
- Take emergency maintenance and housekeeping calls after 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and on weekends and complete maintenance requests during these times
- Be alert of any policy or management changes to better perform job responsibilities.
- Receives, date stamps, and distributes all incoming invoices to appropriate individuals for approval for payment. Assigns account codes for Administrative invoices.
- Ability to move 50 pounds unassisted.
- Physical stamina to walk/ standthroughout the scheduled shift.
- The ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
- Follow the instructions of the supervisor and assist other Resident Services team members with related job duties as necessary.

Qualifications
Education required: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience required: Experience with answering and transferring calls as needed. 5-10 years of reception or customer service experience preferred. Professional license or certification requirements: N/A Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required: The team member must be reliable, have a pleasant speaking voice, a people personality, and a professional appearance. In addition, the Resident Services Package Concierge must be able to handle both routine and unexpected situations, deal effectively with seniors and have the ability to perform in a fast-paced setting, handling a variety of tasks simultaneously. This team member must be able to meet the physical demands of this position.
