What this job involves -

The Ambassador / Concierge Services provides personalized, creative solutions for individual requests and are a positive representation of JLL and client brands and values. In this role, your focus will be welcoming guests into the client office, knowledgeable about the venue and the surrounding area, as the liaison for high quality service delivery.

As a Concierge you are the first impression of the client's company, and you must have the ability to think creatively, networking with local vendors for rides to hotels, airports, tickets, dry cleaning, car repair/detailing and any other special needs the guest/customer may need assistance with.

A successful leader in this role demonstrates enthusiasm, a personal drive to exceed expectations, flexibility, and an accommodating nature. Additionally, the Ambassador / Concierge Services may procure property supplies, vendor coordination / services, work order management, and bid requests.

What is your day to day?

Front Lobby Liaison

  • Lead the welcome, security, badging, and sign-in process according to JLL and client requirements.
  • Maintain an up to date building events weekly newsletter.
  • Reserve and manage (compliance / quality) collaborative spaces and conference / meeting / training rooms; reset collaborative spaces for next use, issue work tickets for maintenance requests and tech issues relating to the scope of services
  • Provide guidance and basic training to Client employees and contractors on the reservation systems

Event Planning

  • Ability to organize, market, and lead activities or events. Coordinate events for collaboration (Example: Dinner events, bus trips to ball games, amusement parks, etc.)
  • Maintain working relationships with in-house and local catering companies for services in the conference rooms or request by Client employees
  • Demonstrate collaboration and teamwork with account wide team and proactively share and apply all learning, successes, and best practices
  • Must be team oriented and work closely with other concierges in continual negotiations with merchants, vendors, local businesses and businesses on discounts that can be offered to the client's working population and customers.

Organizational Skills:

  • Maintain and update calendar of events and welcome board for current up to date events that are taking place. (Example: tee times, golf special's, current movies, plays at theaters.)
  • Be familiar with all conference rooms. Provide current schedules of conference rooms and reserved room information, along with availability.
  • Maintain and update Concierge playbook for your building. Work with other teammates to ensure play books and standard of service are symmetrical.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years quality customer service or related training or equivalent combination of both.
  • Working knowledge of Computer applications: Microsoft Office: (Word, Excel, And Power Point). Google: (G- Mail, Calendaring, Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
  • Knowledge of Corporate Branding and Global Cultures.
  • Posses' excellent interpersonal skills, project a professional appearance, outgoing an energetic personality.
  • Self -motivated, Self-starter. High energy individual that likes challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiar with all area activities, attractions, and restaurants.
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and own problems, following up with the best possible solution for the employee or guest.
  • Ability to meet and work well with all levels of employees and guests. Ability to multi tasks, remaining calm professional and pleasant even during stressful situations.

  • Associate's degree

Estimated total compensation for this position:

55,000.00 - 65,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
