The West Regional Dietitian supports the TSG Nutrition Services Department to move towards a centralized task assignment model. Reporting to the Senior Dietitian/Nutrition Director, the dietitian provides expertise across multiple nutrition-related functions, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and company standards. This role will collaborate with other regional dietitians, internal departments and regional leadership to deliver high-quality nutrition services and support business objectives.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Participate in centralized task assignment model, receiving tasks based on subject matter expertise and workload distribution.
• Provide medical and religious diet support, including consultation with local medical departments and integration of menus into Net Menu Management System (CBord).
• Collaborate with Dietitian Team to create and maintain regional base menus.
• Support sales bid menu development, including attending regional bid calls and coordinating with procurement and Net Menu Support.
• May assist in developing and maintaining standardized School Lunch and Breakfast Program menus in compliance with USDA guidelines.
• Provide unit audit support with annual nutrition adequacy reviews. May support juvenile school lunch and breakfast administrative reviews.
• Conduct training for unit managers on nutrition and diet-related topics.
• Participate in updating the annual TSG Diet Manual with dietitian team.
• Provide regional support to RVPs and DMs for special projects and initiatives such as menu re-engineering and contract support.
• Coordinate travel and continuing education activities in alignment with department budgets.

• Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/N) credential required.
• Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, or license eligible for the specific states of responsibility, as required.
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience institutional nutrition services or similar experience.
• Strong background in long-term care, school, or correctional food service menu development and nutrition monitoring.
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgement, ability to multi-task and prioritize duties and requests from the field.
• Communicate professionally and effectively through both oral and written forms.
• Experience or familiarity with USDA School Lunch and Breakfast Programs preferred.
• Proficiency in menu planning software (e.g., Net Menu) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Remote Position (Southwest US or Mountain/central time zone preferred).
