Description

Primary Purpose:

Under direct supervision, the Commercial Appraisal Reviewer I supports the appraisal review process by assisting with administrative tasks, communicating with lending staff and appraisers, and learning to review appraisal reports in accordance with bank policies and regulatory standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manage and prioritize appraisal assignments within the bank's appraisal platform.
  • Scope and initiate appraisal engagements in accordance with bank policy.
  • Solicit competitive bids from qualified appraisers.
  • Facilitate communication between lending staff and appraisers.
  • Learn to review commercial appraisal reports under supervision.
  • Maintain documentation and assist with compliance tracking.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of real estate valuation concepts.
  • Willingness to learn banking regulations and appraisal standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn appraisal software.
