Coordinate all financial and reporting requirements for federal, state and miscellaneous grants accounted for in the Special Revenue Fund.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
-
- Review and assess Special Revenue Fund expenses for allowability per funding source guidelines and/or the Code of Federal Regulations. Approve internal and external project funded requisitions.
- Compile and maintain various budget reports, records and databases for internal and external reporting. Receive and track project reimbursements.
- Develop, post and maintain the annual Special Revenue Fund budget.
- Act as primary point of contact for the annual Single Audit and funding source site visits. Prepare the SEFA and SESA for annual Single Audit.
- Assist Grants & Development with project oversight activities. Provide financial analysis and spending projections for planning purposes to project leads.
- Evaluate and process personnel requisitions. Initiate and approve project funded assignment renewals.
- Create and enter journal entries as needed.
- Serve as Project Accounting liaison to Class Scheduling and Human Resources.
- Create and share CROA financial reports.
- Perform other related duties as required for the efficient operations of the division.

Qualifications

Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies and procedures. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with major coursework in accounting Required Experience: Three (3) years of experience in grant accounting, preferably at an institution of higher education. Hours: This position works 40 hours per week hours. The work days are Monday - Friday.
