In this role, you'll be a key part of our security team, as a Security Supervisor, you will embrace the opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure environment by leading and supporting a dynamic security team. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising security operations, ensuring the protection of guests, team members, and property, while maintaining order and professionalism. Your primary focus will be on training and directing security officers, responding effectively to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and safety regulations. You will also play a key role in monitoring security systems, preventing risks, and providing exceptional service through clear communication and guest support.

Essential Job Functions:




  • Deliver excellent guest service with courtesy and care, promptly addressing requests and concerns.



  • Lead, train, and supervise security officers, ensuring coverage, professionalism, and punctuality.



  • Actively patrol hotel interior and exterior areas to identify and address safety or security risks.



  • Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and safety hazards.



  • Monitor CCTV and life safety systems, reporting unusual activity or malfunctions immediately.



  • Handle guest issues, assist with lost-and-found items, and maintain accurate incident documentation.



  • Maintain order by addressing policy violations and disturbances respectfully and professionally.



  • Escort guests and team members as needed and provide support for cash transfers or sensitive areas.



  • Support VIP events and assist with guest inquiries as required.





Physical Demands:



  • Grasp, lift and carry or otherwise move persons, luggage, goods, etc., weighing a maximum of 80 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders at a rapid pace.
  • Standing and moving about the entire hotel and outer perimeter and perform duties within extreme temperature ranges/conditions for 8-hour shift.


Qualifications:

Education:



  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required



Experience:



  • Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification required.
  • Basic comprehensive knowledge of completing incident reports.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Safety Regulations, Local Liquor Commission, Dept. of Health & Sanitation regulations preferred.
