The Role:

The Casino Shift Manager oversees the operations of the table games, poker games and slot operations for the assigned shift. Acts as Manager on Duty for the properties in the absence of Operations Managers or Directors.

Responsibilities:



  • Oversees the operations on the casino floor on assigned shift at all properties
  • Oversees the activities of all casino personnel on assigned shift to ensure compliance with gaming rules and regulations as well as company and department policies and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with Colorado controls and gaming regulations
  • Oversees the operations of the table games department on assigned shift at all properties
  • Monitors all slots to ensure they are being attended to expeditiously, exhibiting the best possible service experience to the guests
  • Thorough knowledge of gaming regulations and internal controls
  • Is the point of contact for Division of Gaming, law enforcement, emergency responders, etc. during scheduled shift
  • Perform Administrator functions in secured key management systems including supervisory functions in those systems such as investigate and cancel alarms and run reports as necessary for compliance
  • Calculates winnings to verify payment made by dealers
  • Thorough knowledge of the table games offered by the property including the dealing procedures, payouts, cheque handling and game protection
  • Ability to manually rate table game play
  • Responsible for changing, inspecting for irregularities, and verifying inventory of cards and dice in table games pit on assigned shift
  • Maintains the proper table banks through fills and credits
  • Performs table games inventory procedures during shift change
  • Completes the daily log of shift events and results
  • Makes necessary changes to schedule and staffing levels to meet operational demands
  • Counsels, coaches and suspends team members on shift with guidance of the Casino Manager, Director of Casino Operations, or VP/GM
  • Supervises the drop box removal from the tables of the previous shift for transfer to the count room
  • Promotes Bally's guest service standards by assisting guests by addressing any complaints and resolving problems when necessary
  • Prepares and submits all necessary reports related to casino operations (shift report) after each shift
  • Safeguard casino assets located within the casino and casino grounds
  • Resolve customer and employee complaints and follow through with departmental Manager or Director
  • Perform paperwork required for monetary transactions in accordance with Premier Entertainment policies, Title 31, AML, and ICMPs
  • Act as MOD in the absence of Operations Manager or Director, and/or in case of emergency, sign/ ensure accuracy of the following complimentary meals vouchers, table inventory slips, fill/credit requests, Notification of Error, pit MTL, CTR, W2-G, W-9, 1099 and all other forms used in the course of daily casino operations
  • Responsible to respond to and resolve any issue or conflict whether guest or team member related
  • Ensures that the casino floor is kept clean and all gaming equipment is in proper working order
  • Performs leadership responsibilities for direct report Team Members including but not limited to: perform quarterly one-on-one reviews, yearly evaluations, Paycom time edits, coaching and counselling as needed
  • Performs additional duties that may be assigned


Qualifications:



  • Five years casino gaming experience to include Slots Operations and/or Table Games.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Work, excel, Teams)
  • Ability to obtain a Colorado Division of Gaming Key license.
