Location: 5755 Cedar Lane, Columbia, MD 21044 Shift: Full Time (40 hours) (Temporary) Day Shift; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Non-Exempt; Pay Grade: XR Position Summary: Reports to the Director of Pastoral Care and is responsible for the provision of pastoral care (during their course of their clinical training in pastoral care) to patients, their families, and Hospital employees in accordance with the philosophy, mission statement, and objectives of the hospital. Participates along with hospital staff and personnel in achieving quality patient care. Education: Requires a professional level of knowledge in pastoral care, as acquired by a Bachelor of Divinity degree from a theological seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Schools, or an equivalent level of education and experience (a Master's-level theological degree is preferred). Work Experience: Prior experience in pastoral ministry in a congregational or clinical setting is preferred, as well as good standing in a local or recent faith group. Salary Range: Minimum 5.15/hour - Maximum 50.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
