As the Music Therapist, you are responsible for assessing, planning and providing music therapy within the rehabilitation setting. By leading various support groups when needed, as well as individually designed interventions using music therapy treatment and/or verbal counseling for patients, the Music Therapist is helping our patients recover and resume living again to their best capacity.

Position: Music Therapist, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital

Shift: Part Time, 20 hours/week day shift. There is an evening requirement of 4 hours per week after 4:30PM.

Experience:

1. Minimum 1 year experience required, preferred in a medical setting, preferably with adults 2. Extensive independent initiative and judgment regarding the treatment of patients with medical co-morbidity
3. Knowledge of medical diagnoses and therapeutic presence.
4. Initiative and judgment in setting up interventions.
5. Highly developed music therapy and group process skills to care for a spectrum of patients.

Education:

Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy required.

Licenses/Certifications:

Registered Board-certified Music Therapist required.
