Pizza Cook - Eagle's Nest

The Eagle's Nest is seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to prepare delicious Italian dishes and cook the items in the gigantic brick-oven.Pizza Cooks are responsible for setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies. Pizza Cooks prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. The Pizza Cook must know other cooking methods used by traditional Line Cooks, so specified recipes can be followed. Dishes must be cooked and served in a timely manner while following professional restaurant standards.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Ensure food is fully cooked before plating and serving to guests
• Follow a high level of sanitary protocol always
• Check quality of ingredients
• Perform inventory checks, complete food storage logs, and communicate to supervisor when there are shortages
