Job Description

Thank you for your interest in teaching at Smith College. We are anticipating openings for Teaching Focused Faculty in several of our departments in the coming year. These are limited term, non-benefited teaching positions for a total of one or two courses in the 2025-26 academic year. A PhD, ABD, or an equivalent combination of education and teaching experience is expected of all Teaching Focused Faculty.

Openings in the following departments:

  • Sociology

  • Geosciences

  • English Language and Literature

  • Biological Sciences

  • Jewish Studies

  • Philosophy

  • Art
