Support project leads for molecular diagnostic methods and reference material development for regulated plant pathogens by conducting routine bench work, including nucleic acid extractions, quantifications,
PCR and RT-
PCR,
ELISA, and gel electrophoresis. Record results accurately and provide results summaries and reports to the Project Lead.
Provide lab maintenance, including dishwashing, autoclaving, and restocking, as per an assigned schedule. May work in a greenhouse to pot and report plants, and to collect samples.
May need to obtain
FBI clearance for working with select agents. |
