CLA is currently seeking a Reimbursement Senior to join our Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement practice.

How you'll create opportunities in this Reimbursement Senior role:

  • Coordinate, prepare, and review Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
  • Assist with reimbursement related consulting projects.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of rules and regulations of the Medicare program and State Medicaid programs.
  • Research various topics, as necessary, related to Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
  • Develop familiarity with methods of payment by managed care organizations.
  • Assist with the development of services to provide to clients and potential clients to positively impact revenue.
  • Become actively involved in practice management, i.e. participating in professional organizations and associations which develop/build relationships with clients, potential customers, and industry leaders, etc.
  • Assist with the training and development of staff.

What you will need:

  • 4 years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training maybe accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare program and state Medicaid program rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Medicare cost report software such as, Health Financial Systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) required.
