* Vendor Management Lead

Purpose Statement:

Provides strategic direction and thought leadership in value creation and innovation in supplier relationships. Responsible for the holistic view of select supplier relationships across multiple platforms / functional units / geographic locations. This role will be responsible for working across key supplier relationships to drive and inform the collective strategies, innovation agenda, performance improvements and risk mitigation for suppliers. The successful candidate will be able to work across various levels (both internal and external), articulate and execute on strategy, drive value creation and strategically manage the direction of the overall Supplier relationship across all arrangements.

Position Overview

Reporting to Supply Chan Director, the Vendor Management Lead shall have a primary focus on client customer service. The Vendor Management Lead will manage and maintain overall site service, performance, processes, and quality standards for services which may include but not limited to hard and soft services. The Vendor Management Lead shall work with vendors on removing barriers to service quality, researching and implementing new technologies, and significantly enhancing the customer experience. The Vendor Management Lead shall improve customer satisfaction by owning the active participation in supplier performance and compliance programs.

The Vendor Management Lead will act as lead subject matter expert for RFPs developing and implementing best practices for vendor management in accordance with client MSA requirements, JLL best practices and emerging industry trends. The Vendor Management Lead will look at consolidating services among fewer vendors thereby lowering the cost while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The Vendor Management Lead will also be responsible to lead a team of Vendor Management professionals to deliver strategic outcomes. Closely participate with client and internal JLL stakeholders to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to the operations team. Establish work priorities, assign deliverables and resolve issues with Operations teams, temporary help and/or project-specific dedicated personnel to assure client satisfaction, customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

o Maintain a comprehensive view of Suppliers' overall relationships with JLL

o Identify and execute Supplier collaboration initiatives

o Drive innovation agenda aligned to business unit and service line strategies

o Develop strategy to maximize Supplier value in service delivery

o Ensure effective execution of third party risk standards and supplier relationship management programs including client directed requirements

o Directs supplier performance and produce reports for discussion

o Provide oversight and governance and ensure compliance with relevant 3rd party policies and local regulatory requirements.

o Meet with suppliers to review performance and issues, including issue resolution

o Identify emerging supplier specific risk and enforce supplier management activities

o Provides an escalation point and facilitates critical supplier management related internal and external issues

o Communicates the specific roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders involved in the Supplier performance plan

o Works with stakeholders to refine the reporting standards, tools and templates used in monitoring Supplier performance

o Able to manage complex Suppliers, including: cross-platform , cross-geography, and parent-child

o Is well versed in and is able to apply Risk Assessment & Quantification methodologies

o Understand client vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to client and JLL goals.

o Leverage the value in unit, department, and enterprise wide teams to develop better solutions and achieve a cross enterprise mindset

o Drive Change Management to influence behaviors across the business to align with a mature Vendor Management model and assure buy-in across the organization.

o Leverage data from JLL financial, work order and vendor management systems to develop scorecards integrating reports from surveys, operations data, and other data sources

o Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) for vendors

o Identify, recommend, negotiate, implement and monitor contractual changes as required to ensure costs and services evolve to match changing business needs and priorities

o Secure full engagement and sponsorship from senior internal stakeholders and ensure total alignment between category strategy deliverables and business objectives

o Develop Scorecards reporting format, frequency, data requirements and the mode of delivery

o Ensure that the vendors are fully aligned with all applicable Scorecards reporting requirements

o Work closely with JLL Legal, Risk and or external counsel to understand and manage risks associated with contracts and ensure compliance with JLL contracting requirements.

o Identify and achieve optimization opportunities through innovative ideas and consolidating services among fewer vendors

o Coach and train other team members, to assist in developing insight and understanding of service categories

o 7+ years supply chain/procurement experience, including vendor management roles

o Excellent track record of supplier process development, improvement and relationship management

o Superior commercial negotiation contract design and development skills

o High level business communications skills with ability to influence stakeholders

o Keen driver of innovation with peculiar ability to identify benefit opportunities

o Excellent listening, documentation, communication and influencing skills

o Superior organizational skills; able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

o Expertise in Cost Analysis, Modeling, MS Excel and PowerPoint

o University degree or College diploma

Estimated total compensation for this position:

125,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
