Astrion is seeking a highly experienced Senior Logistics Manager to support a Government Department's Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) program. This role is essential to ensuring the seamless delivery, sustainment, and lifecycle support of CUAS technologies deployed across the Department's operational environments.

The ideal candidate will oversee logistics planning, supply chain coordination, asset tracking, and field support for CUAS systems, working closely with the Department's components and interagency partners to maintain operational readiness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of logistics experience supporting federal programs, preferably in defense or homeland security.
  • Proven expertise in ILS, asset management, and field sustainment operations.
  • Familiarity with Government logistics systems, federal property accountability standards, and FAR-based acquisition.
  • Experience supporting technology deployments in austere or multi-domain environments.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Systems Management, or Public Administration.
  • Certifications such as Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), PMP, or DAWIA Level III in Life Cycle Logistics.
  • Experience with CUAS platforms, mobile sensor systems, or tactical communications equipment.
  • Prior support to DHS, DoD, or IC agencies in logistics or sustainment roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead logistics planning and execution for CUAS deployments across Department components.
  • Manage inventory, asset tracking, and sustainment strategies for CUAS platforms, sensors, and support equipment.
  • Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and field delivery of CUAS systems to mission-critical sites.
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation, including maintenance plans, provisioning data, and lifecycle cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with engineering and program teams to ensure logistics requirements are embedded in system design and acquisition strategies.
  • Oversee vendor logistics performance, including spare parts management, warranty support, and field service coordination.
  • Support operational readiness assessments, field exercises, and rapid deployment logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with Department and federal logistics policies, including property accountability and audit readiness.
  • Provide logistics input to program reviews, risk assessments, and sustainment planning.
