Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Compensation Analyst to provide analytical and administrative support for compensation processes, including analysis, reporting and base pay programs which include contract and non-contractual wage scales. The Compensation Analyst will work on-premise at our Bloomington corporate offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with other members of the HR team as a subject matter expert to resolve issues and provide solutions to include conducting analysis and modeling business specific compensation designs or data

  • Assist in the development, updating and modeling of annual incentive compensation plans

  • Compile, analyze and distribute periodic transactional and summary compensation data

  • Initiates monthly and periodic compensation and position change business processes (e.g., changes to base pay)

  • Performs compensation evaluation and analysis (e.g., job analysis, evaluation, classification, and benchmark job review) using market pricing tool

  • Participate in salary surveys and update and maintain market pricing tool

  • Respond to inquiries regarding compensation related matters

  • Perform other compensation and human resources related duties as assigned

  • Acts as Workday expert with regard to security and compensation business process configurations

  • Assists with the standardization and documentation of compensation processes

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred; high school diploma or GED required

  • 1 - 3 years of work experience in the compensation discipline, or related experience in HR or Finance experience required

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products to be used to develop analysis, charts or other supporting documentation

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong detail orientation

  • Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience with HR Information System (HRIS) required - Workday experience preferred

  • Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality

The pay range for this position is

$70,000.00 to $87,500.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
