Summary of Position

People Ops Associate is a critical role to the People & Culture team effectiveness. This candidate brings the HR support model by establishing a high quality, service-driven HR operations function. The Associate is responsible for improving HR operations, transactional processes, and establishing best practices to ensure HR operations are running smoothly and efficiently. The candidate must demonstrate a customer centric attitude, a sense of urgency, and thrive in an innovative, faced paced environment.

The candidate is responsible for the operational delivery across a broad range of employee life-cycle experiences such as onboarding, employee self-service assisted support, performance and development rewards, talent movement and off boarding. As the catalyst for People Ops the candidate will assist in the Human Capital Management solution strategy with the global launch of our new HR Core Solution. People Ops team holds the key accountability for HR privacy, risk and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review new hires on-boarding material, including forms, policy acknowledgement and other documents to ensure that all required information has been collected and properly maintained in the applicants/new hires digital personnel file

  • Obtain I-9 documentation, E-Verify within required time frame

  • Manually enter data into the HRIS system

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies within the HRIS system

  • Maintain transactional work, for new hires, re-hires, employees, interns, contractors and exits.

  • Audit the HRIS systems and processes and ensure regulatory compliance, effectiveness, efficiency, and data security & integrity

  • Perform complex technical and administrative duties to support People Ops.

  • Maintain process documentation and streamline operational processes.

  • Deliver high quality and professional, consistent service delivery to all internal customers and partners and follow Standard Operating Procedures

  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement that delivers scalable support to the business.

  • Monitors reoccurring issues, systems/data or process gaps and proactively identifies potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.

  • Works in collaboration with IT team to ensure efficient onboarding and exiting of team members

  • Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources in an effective and timely manner.

Qualifications Required for Position

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  • A minimum of 5+ years progressively responsible experience providing shared service support & analytics in a fast paced, tech environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, SharePoint

  • Experience using Workday /SAP / HRIS systems a plus

  • Able to compile, sort and analyze data from multiple sources

  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, problem solve, and multi-task

  • Proficient in HR Operations principles and practices

  • Ability to efficiently coordinate multiple projects under the pressure of tight deadlines

  • Displays a growth mindset to continually learn and grow

  • Focused on solving issues with a sense of urgency

The base salary range for this position is$60,000 - $65,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here:Teladoc Health Benefits 2025.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
