Job Title: Help Desk / IT Support Specialist

Location: Lexington Park, MD

Job Description:

Sabre is currently recruiting for a Help Desk / IT Support Specialist to work in our Lexington Park, MD office. This is a full-time, on-site position providing administrative and project support to the IT Department. Responsibilities include procurement, routing service desk requests, asset tracking, and 1st tier technical customer support. We're looking for an individual who has excellent customer interaction skills (either in-person, over the phone, or over electronic channels), has an attention to detail, and is a quick learner.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Provides initial support or escalates calls to appropriate system support teams
  • Provides support for conference room technology, such as projectors, speakerphones, and webcams, and their ability to support meetings using collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams
  • Assists with maintaining the IT inventory, including hardware, software, licenses, maintenance agreements, systems, and other items tracked by the IT Department
  • Prepares detailed and accurate technology and internal office supply purchase requests; includes tracking, monitoring, and status reporting of all technology purchases
  • Expediting and tracking urgent shipments from the time of order placement until delivery
  • Maintains and updates CRM and other forms of reporting/record-keeping software
  • Add, edit, and remove accounts for employees
  • Resets user passwords as needed
  • Facilitate IT-related invoices from the initial approval process through accounts payable for processing.
  • Assists IT Staff with projects and workload, and performs project functions when required Research and document information using various Internet search engines and research sites
  • Facilitate communication between the department and teammates
  • Performing miscellaneous administrative duties is needed

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience providing IT Support in a corporate environment.
  • Must be technologically and web savvy, with an understanding of basic computer/network concepts and terms
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems as well as iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and support multiple assignments and projects simultaneously
  • Well organized with the ability to work with minimal supervision, ability to problem solve
  • Able to clearly and effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization
  • Able to adhere to timelines, maintaining a professional atmosphere under pressure with multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrate openness to new challenges, opportunities and continuous learning with flexibility and easily able to adapt to changes
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and will be required to pass a background check for this position.

Compensation

Junior Level: At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The general salary range for this position is $40,000-$100,000; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms.
